I originally created this blog to be a fashion blog, chronicling my sartorial needs as I navigate my numerous roles as professional pianist, singer, and organist (the title being play on words, since I play different roles on the operatic stage as well as in life. Groan, I know…). However, in the summer of 2013, I moved from the bucolic town of Princeton to the “big city” of Boston to play piano full-time for the Boston Ballet School. To help cope with the combined stresses of a new city and a new job, I revived my long-time love of sewing (mostly because I no longer had a cat to eat my projects and I finally had enough floor space to cut out fabric!), which staged a coup on my fashion blogging efforts and emerged victorious.
After a brief stint in San Francisco to follow my husband’s career, we are now happily back in New England, hopefully to stay!
